It's like the game was designed for you to go outside and catch them all. My favorite thing about this post is that everyone is so godamned salty about bluestacks and gps hacking. The only game to actually encapsulate physical activity in my opinion, were a very select few Wii games, and DDR.Īt any rate, people are bastardizing what GPS spoofing will do to the game, we should be far more worried about the bugs in the game at this stage, and the obvious exploitable stuff, like soloing gyms with a single pokemon because you know the pattern on dodging (psst, doge, dodge, attack, dodge, attack attack, dodge, attack attack, etc.) If I wanted to walk around, or felt that I really needed the exercise, I would go to a gym. Therefore I think spoofing is reasonable. To be fair, I think it does break the game, but I would have a lot more fun if I could just drive and stop at various hot spots and not have to get out, but that's not the intent of the game. The hardcore GPS spoofers will be banned (Kind obvious if you're hoping across the country), the more mild ones will use it to level up to the max level, and perhaps casually collect exclusive pokemon. I think it's a stretch to actually say that it's hurting anyone anyways.
